One of Vancouver's tallest and most iconic landmarks, Polaris Realty's Harbour Centre is a one-of-a-kind complex. Harbour Centre chose to replace its aging existing HPS exterior lighting with a system from Color Kinetics. The ability to have multiple white CCT outputs and dynamic colour changing scenes from the same system, coupled with the energy and maintenance savings inherent with LED fixtures was incredibly attractive. The design intent was to provide RGB colour changing luminaires to colour wash the top, underside and spire of the restaurant, as well as highlight and emphasize the outer circumferences of the revolving sections with direct view RGB nodes.

After the successful installation of the Tower Component, Polaris Realty decided to make use of the scalability of the system and incorporated it to the Spencer Building during a renovation a couple of years later. Color Burst fixtures with IntelliHue technology were selected to highlight the intricate heritage brickwall on the building.
